Our History

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, FirstClose provides technology solutions to mortgage lenders nationwide and serves as a middleware application that provides access to a host of national and local real estate service providers via the web or through direct integration into various loan origination systems. The FirstClose web app and LOS plugin is the industry’s first and only home equity and refi tool that offers everything from application to servicing (credit score, valuation, title, tax, flood, closing and recording) on one easy-to-navigate platform.

Account Executive

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and persistent Account Executive with a proven track record of managing the sales process from demo-to-close. We need professional individuals who have proven experience with presenting the value proposition, diligent following up and closing skills. The ideal candidate will be energetic, driven and passionate about the selling process.  This Inside Sales Position will require you to present to both small and mid-sized Banks and Credit Unions throughout the United States. Our sales process is consultative vs. transactional and requires a motivated person who has experience identifying the client’s needs and presenting them with the correct solution.

We will provide you with Sales Qualified Leads, but we will also expect you to hunt for new business during down times. The sales team also attends trade shows where you will be expected to network and develop relationships with potential leads. In addition, you will have the full support of a dedicated Marketing Team, Sales Engineers and Account Management Team. This opportunity will require an individual who is very well organized and enjoys managing the complete sales life cycle.

Experience and skills

  • Proactive, well organized self-starter with exceptional presentation and customer management skills.
  • 3+ years of proven inside sales experience with strong phone presence selling to B2B prospects:
  • GoToMeeting, Salesforce and Outlook are some of your best friends.
  • Participating in weekly pipeline meetings/reports and health of business reviews.

Customer Success Manager

The Opportunity

The FirstClose Customer Success team is looking for a seasoned Customer Success Manager who has a passion for developing customer relationships and driving incremental business from within their customer portfolio.

You: You are an experienced and strategic account manager who has had the opportunity to manage a large portfolio of customers, preferably in the SaaS space. You have proven your ability to ‘land and expand’ and been a sales leader within other similar teams. You love earning a customer’s confidence and enjoy serving as a trusted business advisor for their business. You are motivated by the challenge of identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio, and are driven to exceed company, team, and individual revenue goals.

Us: FirstClose is creating a world-class service organization and our Customer Success Managers are critical to our continued success and the success of our customers. The Customer Success Team is focused on delivering a frictionless onboarding experience for new customers. Once a customer is on board, CSMs provide proactive account management to ensure our customers get the most out of our products and services. CSMs are also responsible for increasing revenue per customer with a focus on increasing adoption and product saturation.

Customer Acquisition Specialist

The Opportunity

FirstClose is seeking a Customer Acquisition Specialist to join our Marketing and Sales team. This position is responsible for prospecting, pre-qualifying and generating new sales opportunities to support the Sales team by securing demos for our Account Executives. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys identifying and developing new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, contacts, discovery and individual research.

The FirstClose Marketing and Sales team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Customer Acquisition Specialist to support our AEs and keep their pipeline full. Preferred candidate will have experience in generating new business in a B2B environment as well as have the ability to network and develop C-level relationships.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage lead generation effort to ensure that company meets monthly and annual sales objectives.
  • Proactively make outbound sales calls to set demo appointments for Sales team.
    Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications
  • Execute lead generation programs to increase attendance at upcoming events (trade shows)
  • Analysis and reporting on the results of your lead generation campaigns.
  • Must have extensive CRM experience, Salesforce preferred.
  • Manage, update and maintain the sales database; activity logging, customer notes, etc.
  • Support Account Executives with various tasks during the sales cycle.
  • Follow processes and maintain excellent client communication.

Azure DevOps Engineer


The Senior DevOps role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications, Azure Infrastructure and tools in support of company, product and customer requirements. This includes documenting, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications in a Windows / Azure environment. The Senior DevOps Engineer will research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. This individual will also communicate with and provide support and guidance to other Programmers as needed.


 Maintenance / Development

  • Work with customer service, systems analysts, and software engineers to resolve problems with company software systems while documenting work using collaboration and ticketing systems
  • Identify requirements, write code, and test software programs and applications by using a strong Agile approach of sprints, stand-ups, and constant collaboration.
  • Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures to debug and verify program operation.
  • Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis with internal users and departments.
  • Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
  • Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of all internal and external program users.

 What you’ll do

  • You’ll design, deliver and manage a source code management process and environment that provides continuous integration and continuous delivery with automated alerting on failures.
  • You will investigate new technologies and tools and recommend those that best fit the team and organization
  • You will champion automation: tools improvement, process automation and innovation
  • You will identify and execute on opportunities for increased and improved monitoring and security through the use of tools like appdynamics, sonaqube and site24x7
  • You will educate other engineering teams and advocate for scalable and maintainable architectural decisions.
  • You will lead the remediation of issues identified by security and quality scanning tools

Technology requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience working as a build engineer (VSTS, TFS, Visual Studio)
  • 3-5 years Azure infrastructure operations and support covering Virtual Networks, SQL as a Service, SQL databases, IIS, Virtual Machines and load balancers
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Appdynamics and Sonarqube
  • 5-10 years developing applications with .Net, C#, SignalR, JQuery, Angular, SQL, CSS, HTML, MVC
  • 3-5 years’ experience with MSSQL implementations, tuning and replication
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence
