FirstClose Promotes Chuck Bloodgood to Chief Information Officer

Austin, Texas, October 16, 2017 – FirstClose, a provider of technology solutions for mortgage lenders nationwide, today announced the promotion of Chuck Bloodgood from senior vice president of technology to chief information officer.
In this new role, Chuck oversees the people, processes and technology within FirstClose’s IT department to ensure they deliver outcomes that support the goals and objectives of the company. He plays a key leadership role in the strategic, technical and management initiatives that mitigate threats and drive business growth.
During his four years at FirstClose, Chuck has built a strong team of innovative IT professionals who are delivering new, leading-edge software systems to help rapidly grow the company into a nationally recognized provider of mortgage settlement services.
Chuck began his career at IBM, quickly rising to senior consultant and helping to automate the manufacturing operations of large industrial clients. He subsequently served as vice president of technology for an industrial equipment supplier, a startup and the first fully automated job connecting system.

Chuck earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Economics from Tulane University.
